Six steps from garden design to installation and ongoing maintenance.

Every RoostPop project starts with a garden plan designed around your home's architecture, sun exposure, maintenance preferences, and long-term growth. From there, you approve the direction, our team installs it, and garden maintenance keeps the result intentional as it matures.

  1. 01

    Book your walkthrough

It starts at your home. We walk the front yard with you, listen to what is not working, and hear what you want the front of the home to feel like when the project is done. That conversation gives the next steps a real point of view instead of a generic estimate.

  2. 02

We design the garden around your home

After the walkthrough, we read the bed structure, architecture, site conditions, and transformation level together. That is where the project becomes specific. We narrow what is possible into a front yard direction that can actually work for your home.

  3. 03

    Open Your Front-Yard Fix

This is where the project starts to feel real. Your private proposal shows the goals we heard, the direction we recommend, the architecture of the bed, and curated options for each planting layer. You can understand what we are recommending before you make the next decision.

    Choose your plant direction

You choose what you love from the options already curated for your property, or use our discretion where you want us to make the call. Those selections guide the final plan and make it easy to reserve your install window without guessing what works in Minnesota or what fits your home.

  5. 05

We finalize the garden design and install it

Before materials are ordered, we confirm the final details. Then our team removes outdated landscaping, preps the beds, installs the trees, shrubs, grasses, perennials, and groundcover, and finishes the details that frame the home. Most front yard transformations are completed in 1 to 4 days.

  6. 06

We maintain the garden as it matures

Plants grow, seasons change, and a well-tended front yard compounds over time. Our garden maintenance handles seasonal cleanup, pruning, dividing, deadheading, shaping, mulch refreshes, plant replacement, and planting adjustments so the yard looks sharper in year three than it did in year one.

Why this feels easier

No uncertainty. No surprises.

Traditional landscaping projects often feel uncertain. Prices change. Timelines stretch. Communication breaks down. You end up managing a contractor you hired specifically so you wouldn't have to manage anything.

We remove that uncertainty. Fixed pricing. Clear timelines. Professional installation. A front yard transformation you can plan around and trust from start to finish, without having to become the project manager just to get your yard done right.

We install and maintain the front of your home the same way other home systems are professionally managed. One call, a clear proposal, installation that's done in days, and automatic seasonal care that helps the result keep maturing without you having to coordinate a thing.

What does a typical project cost?
Small existing-bed resets often start around $2,500-$6,500, expanded-bed projects often start around $6,500-$10,500, and small added-zone projects often start around $5,500-$13,500. The exact price is determined by your specific yard: bed size, plant selection, and lighting scope. We provide one fixed price before any work begins. You'll know exactly what you're paying before we start.
How long does installation actually take?
Most installations complete in 1-4 days. A Refresh or Signature on a standard front yard typically finishes in 1-2 days. A Showcase with larger bed areas may take 3-4 days. We schedule the full install as one continuous job. Our crew arrives, completes the work, and you come home to a finished yard.
Do I need to be home during installation?
You don't need to be home, but a brief walkthrough at the start of the first day is always appreciated. It gives us a chance to confirm plant placement with you before anything goes in the ground. After that, you're free to go about your day. We'll leave care instructions and a summary of everything we installed.
What happens if a plant doesn't make it?
We stand behind everything we install with a one-year plant promise. If any plant doesn't survive its first full year in your yard, we replace it at no charge. No questions, no blame-shifting. We select plants appropriate for your site conditions: sun exposure, soil, and drainage. That selection is specifically meant to minimize this risk.
Do you handle permits?
Permits are generally not required for planting, in-ground edging, and low-voltage landscape lighting. If your project involves anything that might require review, like certain retaining structures, we'll identify that during the estimate and let you know what's needed before we quote. No surprises about that either.
What areas do you serve?
We serve the Twin Cities metro suburbs including Edina, Minnetonka, Wayzata, Eden Prairie, Plymouth, Woodbury, Maple Grove, Stillwater, Shoreview, and Prior Lake. If you're in a nearby community, reach out and we'll let you know if we can accommodate your project.
